My husband and I were in search of a new physician when my neighbor mentioned that we should meet Dr Toni Muzzinigro who was a “Direct Primary Care” physician. We were not familiar with the term and were very intrigued. We made an initial appointment with her and learned so many things that we didn’t think existed anymore. Her main focus is on the patient and not the insurance companies! When she doesn’t have to worry about the bureaucracy and red tape of insurance companies, she has so much more time to listen to the patient and come up with a truly great level of care. The patient comes first and foremost. Our initial appointment was so thorough. She wanted to know every aspect of our past records. I felt like she really cared about us and her main goal was to keep us as healthy as possible. During our annual appointments, Dr. Muzzi schedules enough time to go over every concern you may have. Her explanations of test results are very thorough, and she is very knowledgeable of up to date medical breakthroughs. There have been some times during the year that we needed a doctor’s advice quickly. She is available to us basically 24/7. You can get in touch with her via phone, text, or video conferencing. Many things can be handled in a quick and timely manner. However, if there is a need to see her personally, getting in to see her doesn’t take weeks. Usually, you can make an appointment the very next day. How comforting is it to know that your doctor is always available to you and truly cares about your wellbeing! That is worth its weight in gold! Her staff are an added bonus! They run the office efficiently and take care of any other needs we may have. Another great advantage is that Dr. Muzzi has a network of specialists, labs, and resources available to us and at a discounted rate and free generic prescriptions. Personally, we like the fact that someone can help us navigate the medical system and direct us in the right direction. I simply can’t say enough.

When I left my corporate job to start my own business, one of many new challenges was finding quality health care. When I was starting to look for a new Primary Care Doctor, a peer recommended Direct Primary Care. I did some research and found Dr. Muzzi. In the years leading up to finding Dr. Muzzi, the way I think about my health evolved to fit a more modern view of health and science with a focus on overall wellness and preventative medicine. I was surprised and delighted on my first visit to find Dr. Muzzi not only shared this view, but was practicing medicine in this way. Focusing on my overall wellness rather than treating symptoms has improved my quality of life and undoubtedly add quality years to my life. Dr. Muzzi knows me. She knows what I do for work, where I travel, sports and activities, our pets, what I wear to Burning Man and even knows my Dad (who approves!). Taken at face value, this may seem like a cute note to show that we’re friendly. But this depth of knowledge is organically woven into the care she provides every time we speak and my health is better for it. I never imagined Dr. Muzzi existed before I found her. Now, I can’t picture a future of my healthcare without her. If the traditional Doctor / Patient relationship makes you feel like you’re stuck in I4 traffic (frustrated & certain no one will ever fix it) and you want to change that, you’re in the right place.

My husband and I are big fans of Dr. Toni Muzzonigro and ODC. She takes great time and care in both listening to us and explaining medical issues. We didn’t get this when we were part of an HMO or PPO healthcare network. For those rare emergencies, I can reach her after hours and receive an immediate response. We also like that she is not totally westernized in her viewpoints and will give holistic advice. Erin and the staff are amazing. They are warm and welcoming. You don’t feel like a number when you visit ODC. Love them!

We chose to join the practice because Dr. Muzzi is an excellent physician, she can see and treat our whole family, and we can have 24-hour access. The attention to detail, quick response and holistic approach to your health is unrivaled. They provide peace of mind for always knowing you can reach your doctor anytime. There is no waiting, no repeating who you are and your history over and over. No making multiple calls to the doctors office for requesting your prescription refills or holding your breath to be able to make an appointment for urgent care. We love the direct care model as we were part of another similar practice in the area before coming to Dr Muzzi. However they charged not only premium prices for monthly membership but in addition a top dollar price for every visit. With ODC it is just your monthly membership fee. Our family highly recommends Dr. Muzzi and ODC. They feel like our extended family.”
